| Haze Glaze Wishing Well |
This here is by the indie brand, Haze Glaze, and it's called Wishing Well. It looked soooo amazing in the bottle, and of course I just love the idea. It's so whimsical, and it takes me back to the days when I was a kid I took making wishes so seriously. I really wish this polish worked out as well as it looked in the bottle. I'm pretty disappointed.
This is a blue metallic (or frost?) with gold and silver hexagonal glitter and blue square glitter. The formula was pretty much a hot mess like it was with
Spring is Here!, the glitter doesn't stay dispersed long enough. Therefore, barely any of it came onto my nail. I even stuck a toothpick in there trying to mix it up a little, because it appeared that all the glitter was stuck to one side of the bottle. The consistency was fine though, no pooling and streaking was minimal. Just disappointed about the glitter. I did 2 coats here, but the actual color actually covers really well in 1 coat. I just did a second coat to get some glitter on there. Even after you got the glitter out, the color still sort of covers the glitter, but not as much as it did in Spring is Here!

| Wishing Well matches my towel! |
The color itself, I am in love with it! I was always unsure if I should call it blue or turquoise, but nevertheless it perfectly matches the color of my little hand towel that I use for my nails. I think next time I wear this, I will need to add my own layer of gold and silver glitter. Bye!
Good idea, adding your own silver/gold glitter overtop. I love the concept behind this one, too, but I hate frosty formulas mixed with glitter. :P
ReplyDeleteI've never worn frosty nail polish before, but I've heard stories. I purchased these Haze Glaze's not knowing their finish, and I'm not loving them...
