Megan Miller Collection

I am soooo excited about these polishes! Today I have 5 polishes from the Megan Miller Collection. Pictures first, talk later!

Megan Miller Collection Lemon Ice
Lemon Ice is an adorable, pale yellow jelly polish. I usually despise jelly yellows because they usually make your nails look stained and nasty (Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road anyone? Gross!), but I definitely can get behind this kind of yellow. Being a jelly, this took a few coats...like 3. The formula was quite good, a little bit thick and jelly-like but easy to work with!

Megan Miller Collection Champagne
Next up is Champagne which is a frosty, light gold. I don't know how else to describe it other than it's name, it definitely reminds me of champagne. I was reminded of China Glaze Champagne Bubbles, but Champagne Bubbles actually is more of a mustard color and has silver glitter in it. I own both, but let me just say they are very different from each other! I could do a dupe check on it, if anybody wants but I will only do it if it is requested (if not, just take my word for it!). I actually like this one better, because it's paler and less yellow, therefore more wearable for me. This needed between 2-3 coats for full opacity, and the consistency was really good on this.

Megan Miller Collection Ganache
Megan Miller's Ganache is a dark brown creme. It actually looks a lot darker in the picture than it does in person. It's not too dark that it looks black, you can actually tell that it is brown from a distance. This looks so much like chocolate ganache, oh my god! I pretty much love this! I used 2 coats, and the formula was a little bit thinner than the previous two, but I managed without needing cleanup. I definitely don't own any browns like this so I am pretty ecstatic about it. I need to wear more brown nail polish in my life.

Megan Miller Collection Velvet Lounge
Velvet Lounge and a dark purple jelly. So, I am totally digging the names of their polishes, so easy to remember for me because this really does look like the color of gorgeous purple velvet. This one also came out looking a lot darker in pictures than in person. It is way more noticeably purple in real life, and it is such a cute color! I think every girl should have this kind of purple in their nail polish arsenal. I used 3 thin coats for this, because the formula for this was pretty runny!

Megan Miller Collection Framboise
Lastly, this is Megan Miller's Framboise which is a blue-toned darker red jelly. I say darker because it's not a dark red, but it is relatively darker than your normal red. I love this so freaking much!! Also, once again it is a perfectly fitting name. Not only is it adorably French (framboise = raspberry in French), it matches the color (less difficult for me to remember). I used 3 thin coats because the formula for this one was also a tad bit thin. So paint carefully if you are lazy and want to avoid cleanup like me.

My Megan Miller Collection
Also, let's talk about the bottle for these. How adorable is that?! The bottles have cork tops, which I'm sure is very difficult for them to produce consistently to fit the bottle perfectly. The corks make the bottles look like little potions! And look at the freaking cute raffia bow! It all looks so handmade, and gives each bottles it's own little character. All of these polishes are 3-free as well, which makes me happy.

Where to buy
  • Apparently these are available in Anthropologie! But since I'm never near an Anthropologie nowadays, I ordered mine online from the Megan Miller Collection website. They are $12 for a bottle (+$5 shipping), and every month they have a color of the month that goes on sale for $9. I'm guessing this brand is pretty new, because they only have 12 colors as of now. Their shipping was really fast, took them 5 days to get to me! I was actually still waiting for a shipping confirmation email but before I knew it, I had already received my order.
I hope you guys enjoyed these as much as I did! Toodles!

  1. These bottles are ridiculous cute! I love it! And Lemon Ice went directly onto my lemming list- I have an insatiable appetite for pale, pale lemony yellows. I love the jelly quality this one has! Thank you so much for sharing these swatches!
